Motivation
Motivation is a funny thing. Sometimes we have little to none. Sometimes we have more than we know what to do with. It can make you completely unproductive, or you can blow yourself away with what you can accomplish. MANY times I have learned to rely on videos on youtube to get me going to do the things I don’t always want to do, like sticking with cardio when I absolutely don’t want to. I want to share two VERY different videos. The first is a nice compilation with some great music in the background. The clips are of some of the truly great bodybuilders of all time, and they span over 30 years of history. While their physiques, levels of muscle mass, and training styles differ, they all knew how to bring it for some great workouts.
The second video is very, VERY different motivation for me. I cannot get through it without crying. It makes me not only love and appreciate my son that much more, but it makes me want more than anything to go out of my way for my kids. In addition, it means any excuse or reason for failing is that much less valid when compared to Dick Hoyt’s greatness as a man.
